Porcine testis (ST) cells are engineered cell lines derived from porcine testis progenitor cells via passaging and clonal screening, and can be maintained in continuous culture. ST cells are sensitive to swine disease viruses includingswine fever virus (CSFV), porcine parvovirus (PPV), pseudorabies virus (PRV), and porcine transmissible gastroenteritis virus (TGEV).
