For MDCK Womei Bio has developed a series of culture media, previously launched MDCK-SLM low serum medium (the amount of neonatal bovine or calf serum can be reduced to less than 3%) and MDCK-TSM trace serum medium (the amount of neonatal bovine blood or calf serum can be reduced to 0.5%), to facilitate the amplification of viruses, and launched the MDCK-SFM serum-free medium. The cell growth density and multiplication time in the above media are the same or even better than those in the 10% serum content media, which makes a great contribution to the reduction of production cost and improvement of production convenience.
