The DOE.Biocell™ Intelligent Enzyme Reaction Workstation is a harvesting system* for the unattachment of cells. The reaction workstation is capable of being controlled in a sterile environment internally, enabling the collection of adherent cells by effectively separating them from already saturated culture media, while the culture media can be reused. In addition, this product can be used for expression product harvesting and full-volume culture medium replacement during the cell culture process of adherent-dependent animals, and the culture medium replacement efficiency can reach more than 98%.
Applications include inoculation, culture, expansion, fluid exchange, washing and harvesting of adherent-dependent cells in the production of biologics.
1. Multi-purpose
Used for adherent animal cells:
*Transfer process for culture amplification;
*Full volume replacement of culture broth;
*Collection of expression products;
*Culture media recycling or harmless disposal.
2. Efficient desorption
*The screen pores are tapered downward to reduce the resistance to overflow;
*Equipped with tail gas pressure regulating valve to maintain the pressure in the tank to accelerate the liquid discharge;
*Three-dimensional spiral structure paddles, axial centrifugal force co-promote the culture liquid through the filter mesh;
*Large flow rate of liquid inlet and outlet to shorten the actual impact time of enzyme reaction.
3. Elimination of dead ends
*Cylindrical structure reactor, height to diameter ratio less than 1. With optimized design of paddle inclination and paddle/tank diameter ratio;
*Calibrated by CDF simulation, suitable for large capacity transportation of high-density media with good mixing characteristics and low shear.
4. Operation of the program
*Automated adherent cell transfer program, integrating multiple steps of liquid inlet, washing, enzyme reaction and harvesting, making the transfer process easy to operate;
*The enzyme reaction workstation inlet and harvesting port are perfectly connected with DOE.Biocell™ reactors for small, medium and production series;
*The enzyme reaction process pH, temperature, stirring, (mass sensor, live cell electrode optional) full control, to ensure the accuracy of the enzyme reaction.
